Shri Nivas Sharma was born into a farmer's family. His family was well-off, and he had a penchant for social service since childhood. He often helped the poor and the destitute. His family members were also deeply concerned about Shri Nivas Sharma's future. However, his purpose remained unchanged; he continued to serve society in his own way. To ensure justice for the people, he served as a member of the Gram Panchayat and Nyay Panchayat several times, and also served as the president of the Farmers' Union. During these pursuits, he arrived in Delhi. In March 2000, he had to travel to various areas of Delhi for some work. There, he saw poor children working as laborers and blind children wandering on the streets. He then resolved to ensure a brighter future for these children. This resolve emerged as the Child Old Blind Home Welfare Society in Amar Colony, Phase 2, Nangloi, Delhi. This organization was established on January 28, 2004, and continues to serve poor and blind children and elderly people
